We watched a very silly video in LIFEZONE this week all about Spongebob and our LIFEZONE WEAPON: VALUE!
The Bible says that God loves us SO much that He sent Jesus to die for us!
WOW...that makes us SO valuable and special.
The problem is, sometimes we try other things to make us feel valuable instead of believing what God says about us!
Spongebob did this! You see, Spongebob felt WORTHLESS because Larry the Lobster and Sandy the Squirrel were better than him at lifting things!
Spongebob tried really hard to be strong but just wasn't! He ended up trying so hard to impress people that he... Ripped his pants!
He found out that he stopped feeling worthless and felt really VALUABLE when he ripped his pants because everyone thought it was funny!
But it didn't last long! After a while people stopped laughing and got bored of Spongebob and his ripped pants!Then, Spongebob felt worthless again!
We all do things sometimes to make us feel more valuable like supporting a football team, buying new clothes, showing off to people or trying to be tough and strong like Spongebob!
But none of them wil last because our TRUE value is in our LIFEZONE BRICK:
THERE IS A VALUE ON MY LIFE
I AM WORTH THE LIFE OF CHRIST!
So we don't need to do other things to be valuable!
Just REMEMBER that GOD LOVES YOU!
